And Then There Were None

By Agatha Christie

Showdates: October 28 - November 6, 2016

Ten strangers are summoned to an island with no contact to the outside world. One by one, they are murdered. Can the survivors discover the murderer before it's too late?

After his first successful UAA season which included Stalking the Bogeyman, director Dr. Brian Cook is back again with his interpretation of Agatha Christie鈥檚 acclaimed And Then There Were None. 鈥淚t鈥檚 always been one of my favorite stories. Agatha Christie is so good at creating suspense and mystery, so it鈥檚 a perfect play to do around Halloween,鈥 said Dr. Cook.

In addition to bringing thrills, leading actress Lisa-Marie Castro will also be lending her academic prowess to the production. Directly following the October 30th performance, Castro will lead a panel discussion highlighting her honors thesis about the role of female characters in Agatha Christie鈥檚 writings.

Featuring British dialects, an exquisite Art Deco set and a whole host of new faces including guest designers Jason Orlenko and Paul Rios, Dr. Cook鈥檚 production promises to be an exciting kickoff to the 2016-2017 UAA Theatre and Dance Season.

Performance run time: 2 hours with a 10-minute intermission

Performances held at the UAA Mainstage Theatre, 3700 Alumni Drive, Anchorage, AK 99508
