Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Bruce Schultz and Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Services Lora Volden are pleased to share the Student Affairs Annual Report for Academic Year 2021. It chronicles the achievements and improvements Student Affairs staff accomplished this past year, highlighting how Student Affairs responded to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

UAA Education Abroad is an opportunity for UAA students to study abroad or participate in an internship or service learning experience in another country while still receiving academic credit towards their UAA degree! Students can choose programs from all over the world, use their financial aid to pay for program fees, and go abroad for the summer, a semester or an academic year.

The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) at the 熊猫在线视频 (UAA) is hiring a Master of Public Policy student to research community impacts of river erosion and policy solutions in 熊猫在线视频鈥檚 Yukon River Watershed. This position will be part of a larger research project funded by the National Science Foundation on planning for and adapting to riverbank erosion.

The Faculty Senate Diversity Committee has been developing a diversity database survey to collect data from staff and faculty in regards to their diversity related activities. The data collected will be relevant to multiple UAA efforts. We have plans to publish the data publicly online. We sincerely hope you will take the time to participate to help us get an accurate picture of diversity activities at UAA.

The UAA Anchorage campus consolidated mandatory student fee of $36.50 per credit remains unchanged for the spring 2022 semester. This fee is assessed starting when a student registers for one credit. The fee applies to all students, in all UAA Anchorage courses, regardless of the delivery mode or location. The UA Network Charge and the Facilities Fee are assessed as separate fees. Priority registration for Spring 2022 begins November 5th and students are transferring in to attend UAA. Help make sure you and your students are ready for another amazing semester by attending this transfer credit brown bag session hosted by the Office of the Registrar.
