by Kathleen McCoy |
The UAA School of Engineering will host a series of one-week summer camps starting this week. The UAA Summer Engineering Camps are offered to boys and girls in grades 7-12 and provide the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work with leading university faculty, staff and industry experts in fields of science and engineering. Students can choose from three tracks: robotics (May 23-June 10), rapid prototyping (May 23-June 24) and GPS tracking (June 20-July 1).
For more information and to register, contact Dr. Jeff Miller at jmiller@uaa.alaska.edu or (907) 786-1047. These workshops are offered to students free of charge thanks to the generosity of BP.
