Fran Ulmer, chair of the and former UAA chancellor, invited Gunnar Knapp, interim director of UAA's , to give federal government officials some background information on 熊猫在线视频's economy at a roundtable discussion of the new National Strategy for the Arctic Region in June.
"The paradox of 熊猫在线视频-a wealthy state with also some of the poorest areas in America combined-both of these parts of 熊猫在线视频, the modern and the rural and poor, are very much affected by what happens in the Arctic and very much affected by U.S. Arctic policy," Knapp says.
