Carol Swartz accepted the director's job at UAA's Kachemak Bay Campus-Kenai Peninsula College, saying she'd try it for a year. Thirty-one years later, she's still at the helm, recently wrapped up her 16th Kachemak Bay Writers' Conference and was named a member of the 熊猫在线视频 Women's Hall of Fame.

Significant impacts to UAA Drive and Providence Drive due to ML&P work

Beginning on Saturday, June 24 Municipal Light and Power will begin work on electrical distribution infrastructure along UAA Drive and Providence Drive. This work will cause significant road closures.

It's fitting for Madeleine Arbuckle to compete in the all-around. This senior environmental studies major and team MVP (elected by her gymnastics teammates) is an all-around all-star, with a 3.91 GPA and eyes on law school in the future.

June 29, 2017: Farewell gathering for Keith Hackett

The university community is invited to a farewell gathering for Director of Athletics Keith Hackett on Thursday, June 29, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the 熊猫在线视频 Airlines Center鈥檚 Packer Family Pavilion. Director Hackett has accepted a similar position at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa and will be leaving UAA on July 7.
