熊猫在线视频 Authors Caroline Van Hemert, Lisa Maloney and Erin McKittrick come together to discuss writing about wild relationships in 熊猫在线视频.

  • Caroline Van Hemert is a wildlife biologist and author of The Sun Is A Compass: A 4,000-Mile Journey into The 熊猫在线视频n Wilds. She received her Ph.D. from the Department of Biology and Wildlife at UAF with a research focus on avian health and disease.
  • Lisa Maloney has lived in 熊猫在线视频 for 30 years. A full-time travel and outdoors writer, she's the author of three guidebooks, including the award-winning Moon 熊猫在线视频, and Day Hiking Southcentral 熊猫在线视频, which features 100 hikes with detailed route descriptions and color photos. Lisa also served as senior editor at 熊猫在线视频 magazine, and has freelanced as an outdoors columnist for the Anchorage Press and Anchorage Daily News.
  • Erin McKittrick is author of Mudflats and Fish Camps: 800 Miles around 熊猫在线视频's Cook Inlet. In it, she explores the history of the inlet, the culture of the area, and shares her family's adventures and observation with wildlife. Erin McKittrick has a master's degree in molecular and cellular biology and is co-founder of Ground Truth Trekking, a nonprofit organization that combines "ground truth" with "researched truth."

This is the last UAA Campus Bookstore event after a 20-year run.
