Participants will have the opportunity to provide two minutes of testimony.

American Sign Language interpreters will be present. Parking is free. The session will be audio-recorded. Faculty, staff, students, alumni and the general public are all invited to attend.

Call-in option available

In light of the governor's public health disaster emergency declaration regarding COVID-19, we are sensitive to the fact some people may not want to attend tonight's community listening session in person. We are now offering a call-in option. Please feel free to share with anyone interested in participating.

Are there other opportunities to provide feedback?

Online feedback forms are posted under the feedback tabs on the expedited program review and administrative review websites. The surveys will remain open through March 18.

Listening and support sessions are also scheduled for studentsstaff and faculty.

Why is UAA undertaking an expedited program review?

Expedited program review is resulting from a $70 million decrease to the university system over a three-year period. Last October the Board of Regents charged each university to undertake an expedited review of its academic programs and administrative services to meet its share of the reduction.

The board’s direction means UAA leadership must make difficult decisions about the number of academic majors the university will be able to offer in the future, as it also considers additional cuts to administration.
