Scholarship to study abroad at University of Stavanger

UAA offers students an opportunity to apply for the Kaare Birkeland Scholarship for exchange to the University of Stavanger (UiS) in Stavanger, Norway. Recipients of the scholarship will go on exchange for the full academic year (fall to spring).

Writing open mic, Nov. 14

The Department of Writing is hosting a writing open mic, Nov. 14. Students and employees are invited to bring a short piece of writing they have been working on to this annual open mic event and share it with a supportive group of peers and writing faculty. The event is open to any genre of writing, so long as it tasteful and under five minutes. Pizza and sparkling water will be provided.
