- I'd love to schedule this training in person for my staff meeting, how do I set that
up?In person training for your department or program can be requested by emailing uaa_titleix@alaska.edu.
- I took a training and it brought up some traumatic memories, what should I do?If you have experienced trauma in the past related to sex or gender-based discrimination and you feel that impacts your ability to take the Title IX training, you can opt out of future trainings by completing the Title IX Training In addition, if you feel comfortable, we encourage you to reach out to our office and we will listen to your experience and provide supportive measures if possible.
- I finished the training so why is there still a hold on my account?Once completed, it usually takes a short while for the hold to be automatically removed as our systems update. If you still have the hold after an hour, please email us at uaa_titleix@alaska.edu and we鈥檒l look into it further.
- Why am I not able to see my completion certificate even though this page says I finished
the training? The typical cause for this discrepancy is closing the module at page 64 instead of clicking the next button and closing it at screen 65. When users close the module at page 64 you don鈥檛 actually trigger the completion which is needed to print your certificate. Please note, the last line on this page does ask users to continue to the next page to exit; otherwise your status will remain "In Progress."
- Why do I get a blank page after I leave the training and return to it later? The black / blank module load you are experiencing probably indicates that some part of the module was failing to load. It's difficult to determine what the cause was in cases because it could be anything from a network error causing a partial module launch, to a browser component failure, and many things in between. Our recommendation is to both update your browser to the most current release version (if it is not) and - if possible - hop on a more reliable network if you have a slow or limited connection (especially wireless).
