University Sponsored Off-Campus Activities

The University of ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ Anchorage is committed to a safe and healthy educational and work environment in which educational programs, internships, practicums, employment, research activties, conference and meeting participation, study abroad programs, and other off-campus academic or research related activities are free of sexual or gender-based discrimination. Participation in these programs provides experience that is a valuable part of your growth and development. 

The rules of the ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ apply at all university owned or operated sites, university sanctioned events, clinical sites, and during all academic or research related travel that are university sponsored. Expectations for Third Party Educational Providers

  1. Third party providers will assist and cooperate with University of ÐÜèÔÚÏßÊÓƵ, as necessary, in any process or investigation related to nondiscrimination and compliance responsibilities.

  2. Third party providers agree to take no action affecting any student placed at their agency that would be prohibited by UA nondiscrimination policies.

  3. Expectations for third parties are communicated through affiliation agreements.

Affiliation Agreement Language

Off-Campus Activities Syllabus Statement

In addition to the normal notice of nondiscrimination classes that include off campus programs and research activities should include an additional syllabus statement explaining the UAA nondiscrimination policies and their enforcement off campus
