UAA provides exciting internships opportunities, some of which have included demolition of the Eklutna Dam, reconstruction of Dalton Highway and other road work initiatives as well as work with a local military base. Construction management associate degree program curriculum
The Associate of Applied Science program curriculum covers a wide range of topics including planning and scheduling projects, using CADD for building construction, preparing cost estimates, interpreting construction documents and construction surveying. Supporting courses help reinforce other key skills needed by construction managers, covering areas such as business law, writing and communications, physical geology and basic physics.
