UAA is seeking a positive, productive professional to administratively support faculty and staff governance groups at the university. This role will be supporting the Faculty Senate leadership, Staff Council leadership and the Chancellor's Office in a variety of committees and projects.

The Department of Writing is hosting a writing open mic, Nov. 14. Students and employees are invited to bring a short piece of writing they have been working on to this annual open mic event and share it with a supportive group of peers and writing faculty. The event is open to any genre of writing, so long as it tasteful and under five minutes. Pizza and sparkling water will be provided.
