Use of Controlled Substances
If so, you must comply with University Controlled Substance Policy.
To continue using controlled substances in your research program each of you MUST apply for a DEA Research Registration: DEA Form 225 - .
The form is easy to fill out and the $70 annual fee can be waived for a public institution. You need to put in the code for the exact drugs you are using. Codes are HERE. You will also need to compile a list of individuals working under you who will have access to controlled substances in your possession (name, job title, contact number, birthdate). I advise you to keep this list very short!
