Math Lab Tutoring
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics seeks tutors to staff our lab.
Tutors work in the mathematics tutoring lab for a few hours per week. They should be capable of tutoring calculus (MATH A251-A253) and MATH A221. Those able to tutor MATH A314 Linear Algebra and MATH A302 Ordinary Differential Equations are desired. Ability to tutor statistics (STAT A253) is also desirable.
The pay rate is $15.26 per hour.
To tutor mathematics, a student must have:
- Must have at least a 2.7 GPA
- Completed Math A251, Math A252, and Math A253 with at least a C
- Received a C or better in all courses taken during the previous semester
To tutor statistics, a student must have:
- Must have at least a 2.7 GPA
- Completed STAT A307 or Stat A308 with at least a C
- Received a C or better in all courses taken during the previous semester
