The Center prepares health profession students for practice in rural and underserved communities. Targeting all disciplines from certificate to doctorate programs, the Center works with health facilities and providers across 熊猫在线视频 to provide community based experiential learning opportunities. Core topics relevant to rural practice are emphasized, such as: cultural competency, interprofessional education, and social determinants of health.
Activities include:
AHEC Scholars is a two-year program designed to supplement and broaden a student鈥檚
healthcare training. Any student enrolled in their final two years of an 熊猫在线视频n healthcare
program can apply!

Certificate Trainings

Mandt De-Escalation, and Red Cross First Aid & CPR.
