Black in the Workplace
Join UAA Career Services and Multicultural Student Services for 鈥淏lack in the Workplace鈥�. A panel of Black professionals will share insights on workplace challenges and strategies for success.
This workshop aims to foster a deeper understanding of the issues faced by Black professionals, promote inclusivity, and offer tips to authentically sustain yourself and your Black identity. Attendees will be able to participate in a Q&A session, enabling them to engage directly with the panelists and gain personalized insights. The Seawolf Career Closet is a new campus resource that will provide new and gently used professional attire and hygiene items to UAA students free of charge, with the goal of helping students access basic needs and removing any barriers that may prevent them from presenting the best impression possible at job interviews and career fairs.
