Current active duty service members, reserves, and national guard members are now
eligible for tuition to be capped at $250 per credit maximum and have all students fees waived. Fee waivers do not apply to course or lab fees. Tuition cap and fee waivers do not
apply to graduate tuition or to dependents.
Bolster Your Academic Success
The UAA Military and Veteran Academic Success Centers with sites on both Ft. Richardson and Elmendorf are staffed with MVSS team members ready to help you. Whether you have questions about your academic path or need some academic support, the Academic Success Centers are the place to start!
Certifications, Nuts & Bolts
The UAA Military and Veteran Student Services Resource Center, housed in the Student Union on campus, is staffed with MVSS team members available to help you with the nuts and bolts of your university journey. Contact them with your questions about your certification, how to change your major and other VA educational benefit issues.
Report of Change
If you have changed your major, declared a minor or changed your benefit type, you must complete the UAA Student Veteran Report of Change form.

It is highly suggested that you work with an academic advisor and refer to to confirm that courses are applicable to your degree program.

You are strongly encouraged to complete the following applications in order to find more opportunities for funding but it is not required:
