Communication Design

The Communication Design program at UAA educates and trains future designers to serve the communication needs of industry and society through the development of innovative visual ideas. Students are also taught to develop analytical and research skills to further build their knowledge of design and cultural history.

Encompassing the disciplines and technologies of graphic design, photography, illustration and printmaking, this program emphasizes meaningful ideation, high-impact design, and the creation of memorable experiences that rise above informational distractions.
