Honors Sections of General Education Courses (GERs)

General Education Requirement courses (GERs) provide students an opportunity to explore a diversity of academic experiences, and find ways to explore their academic interests in a way they may not on their own! For Honors students, there is the chance to explore their Honors track in a GER course. While taking a GER Honors course is not required to graduate with Honors, to get GER credit with the Honors program, students must take the specific section designated for Honors. These specific sections focus on a learning outcome related to the Honors College, and will provide students an opportunity to explore their Honors track in a personally customized way! The specific course sections that will be offered as honors-designated may change every semester, so students should first consult with their honors advisor to ensure they register for the appropriate course.
