Purpose
To provide guidelines for establishing bank accounts.

Policy
Delegation AuthorityNo authority is delegated to open a new bank account. The opening of a new bank account
must be approved by the Vice President for Finance. The Vice President for Finance
must be the authorized check signer for all university bank accounts.
Delegation CriteriaCompliance with the referenced Statewide Accounting Manual Procedure is required.
ApplicabilityThis policy applies to all community campuses.
